STEP 1
Read all emails thoroughly and respond as quickly as possible. Casting moves fast, and opportunities are often time-sensitive. Our most successful talent are the ones who respond promptly and stay proactive. Being prepared and responsive is one of the biggest factors in getting booked.
STEP 2
Invest in a professional headshot. This is a standard industry requirement and one of the most important tools for getting booked.
Professionally Pretty offers monthly headshot sessions starting at $150—an excellent opportunity, as professional headshots typically begin around $250. You’ll receive monthly emails with upcoming dates.
Your photos are your first impression. Clean, professional images will always perform better than selfies or filtered photos. If you need photographer recommendations, we’re happy to share trusted referrals.
STEP 3
Make sure your casting profiles are complete and up to date. We use multiple industry platforms to submit talent and increase your booking opportunities.
To be considered for the widest range of projects, you should have complete profiles on:
• Casting Networks
• Casting.com
• Hey Joe
• Casting Frontier
• Actors Access
These platforms are separate from your Professionally Pretty profile and are used directly by casting directors. Incomplete profiles can limit your visibility and booking potential.
All platforms offer free sign-up options, which are sufficient to get started.
If you already have accounts, please log in and ensure all information, photos, and details are fully updated.
Casting Networks (REQUIRED)
You are required to have a Casting Networks account. A free account is sufficient. You will receive an invitation to link your profile to Professionally Pretty. If you have not received this, please reach out.
Casting.com (REQUIRED)
We actively submit talent through Casting.com for additional opportunities.
